Travel Agent

As a Travel Counselor at the Garden City office, I’m responsible for assisting clients in planning all aspects of travel arrangements. In addition, I’m also responsible for assisting American Express Card members with travel needs which includes the process of redemption of Membership Rewards® points for travel.  Going the extra mile and providing exceptional customer service for my clients is something I pride myself on. I truly love what I do and have built many lasting relationships over the years with my clients.

My experience in the travel industry spans more than 25 years, starting with Oyster Bay Travel when my children were younger as an outside agent. Once my youngest child went into high school, I took a full-time position with Liberty Travel, where I worked for 10 years prior coming to ALTOUR.  

Keeping on top of updates and trends in the travel industry is critical, so I participate in as many industry functions as I’m able to.  This combined with the relationships I’ve formed with our supplier sales reps helps keep me familiarized with updates regarding suppliers, properties and destinations. 

Continuing education is also important and have completed specialist programs and received specialist certificates for the following destinations: Aruba, Bermuda, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico and St. Lucia.  I recently received an award from The Puerto Rico Tourism Board for being a top producer. Additionally, I have also received specialist certificates from the following suppliers: Alitalia, Club Med, Celebrity, Couples, Fairmont, Hard Rock, Hyatt, Oceania, Princess, Palace Resorts, Real Resorts, Royal Caribbean, Sandals and Superclubs. 

On a personal note, I love to cook and bake and spend time with my family.  It would be my pleasure to assist you with all your travel needs.
