At its semi-annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, Midwest Travel Journalists Association (MTJA) announced the winners of its 2018 MARK TWAIN TRAVEL JOURNALISM CONTEST.
Janet Steinberg, who is our the travel writer for The Travel Authority Travel Blog was awarded the honor in the Digital Articles Category for her article TRAVEL MELDS THE BITTER WITH THE SWEET. Steinberg’s latest awards brings her total number of travel writing awards to 47…including: 3 Lowell Thomas Awards; Cipriani Award for Best Overall Writer of the Year; Henry E. Bradshaw Award for Best of Show in All Categories; Ohio Buckeye Travel Award; 17 Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) Awards and 24 Midwest Travel Journalists Association (MTJA) Awards.
